Traditional Urban Catholic 7 exists because the streets need saints.
At the heart of this mission is Eric Tafoya “E.T.”, a street missionary formed by suffering, sharpened by truth, and driven by mercy. His story doesn’t start with a ministry plan. It starts with gang violence, addiction, and a tragic high-speed crash that took the life of an innocent man. Facing decades behind bars and haunted by guilt, Eric found himself broken in a jail cell and that’s where Christ met him.
And from that came a mission: bring the Gospel where comfort won’t go.
Today, that mission takes shape through multiple missions:
The work is simple but not soft. These missions are boots-on-the-ground responses to a world starving for truth, mercy, and male spiritual leadership. We need faith that shows up. A brotherhood forged not in theory, but in the fire of the streets.
